Mt. Maculot or Macolod is one of the most popular day hike destination in the south of Metro Manila, approximately 2.5 hours away from Manila. Mount Maculot is easily identifiable afar because of it's cliff form on it's east side known as Rockies. This Mountain stands at 930 MASL, but only a few summits Mount Maculot because most will settle and hike only to Rockies at 706 MASL, Rockies has the most scenic view of Taal Volcano and Taal Lake. This experience will give you the option to summit if the whole group decides to.
